How does SSO work for SAM Studio?

SAM Studio’s SSO system allows you to access all of your projects, classes, and more with a simple and familiar sign-in process. As of October 2021, you can switch to the SSO system and you’ll never need a token again!

There are three options for getting set up with a SAM Studio account:

SIGN IN WITH GOOGLE:  

  1. Navigate to studio.samlabs.com
  2. Click the “Sign up” link at the bottom of the log-in page
  3. Read and accept the terms of service
  4. Click “Sign Up with Google”
  5. Connect your Google account in the Google sign-in window 
  6. Enter your name / display name
  7. Select if you are a teacher or a student 
  8. Enter your school’s subscription code (teachers) or your teacher’s class code (students) 

Once your account is created you’ll be able to log-in to SAM Studio by using the Google Sign-on button on the log-in page. 

SIGN IN WITH MICROSOFT: 

  1. Navigate to studio.samlabs.com
  2. Click the “Sign up” link at the bottom of the log-in page
  3. Read and accept the terms of service 
  4. Click “Sign Up with Microsoft”
  5. Connect your Microsoft account in the Microsoft sign-in window 
  6. Enter your name / display name
  7. Select if you are a teacher or a student 
  8. Enter your school’s subscription code (teachers) or your teacher’s class code (students) 

Once your account is created you’ll be able to log-in to SAM Studio by using the Microsoft Sign-on button on the log-in page. 

SIGN IN WITH EMAIL: 

  1. Navigate to studio.samlabs.com
  2. Click the “Sign up” link at the bottom of the log-in page
  3. Click “Sign up with your email”, located below the terms of service. 
  4. Read and accept the terms of service
  5. Enter your school email address and create a password
  6. Click the verification link sent to the email address you provided
  7. Enter your name / display name
  8. Select if you are a teacher or a student 
  9. Enter your school’s subscription code (teachers) or your teacher’s class code (students) 

Once your account is created you’ll be able to log-in to SAM Studio using your email and password on the log-in page.
